Analyze the poem and focus on:

Imagery – How doe the poet utilize images to invoke mood / texture and sound into what you are reading?

The Speaker – Who is the speaker in the poem? Why is this story being shared with the reader?

Stanzas – How are the lines in the poem grouped? Is this for a reason?

Line Breaks – How does the poet break a line in the poem? As you read the poem, do you notice the breaks? Do these line breaks have an impact on how you read the poem?
