Leadership and Organizational Change Theory

In a professional presentation or job interview, a leader may be asked to explain his or her approach to leadership and organizational change with a human services system. While you may already have a general answer, theory can provide language to further strengthen your response. This assignment is designed to prepare you for those questions and to demonstrate your understanding of theories that are relevant to leading adaptive change processes in human services systems.
Assignment Instructions
Write a 5–6-page paper on leadership and organizational change in a human services system. In your paper:
Create a table comparing and contrasting multiple leadership theories.
Discuss at least three theories of leadership and analyze how they interact with an organizational change model.
Identify your own leadership style in relation to the theories you discussed and in relation to organizational change.
Relate how your own leadership style is relevant to the chosen human services system and its organizational change.
